On behalf of all the people of God who are members of "Our Lady", let me welcome you to one of the finest parishes that I have ever had the privilege of serving. God touches our lives here in many powerful ways. He is not finished with any of us... not yet.
Our people come from many different backgrounds and have a wide variety of "religious experiences". We bring our differences with us when we come together to celebrate the Liturgy. Knowing that we are brothers and sisters, we worship with "one mind and one heart" during those sacred moments, and then go out to continue our journey to the Father, loving each other as He loves us.
Here at "Our Lady", the "Eucharist" is the central focus of our parish life. It is always celebrated with reverence, attention and devotion. We welcome your participation each weekend and whenever you can join us. As you explore our website, you will notice that the Holy Spirit has generously gifted our Parish with the charisms that are needed for the "LIFE" of His people. Our people have responded to the prompting of the Holy Spirit with responsible Stewardship that is second to none.
The whole mission of our parish is summed up in the phrase, "We are a Stewardship Parish and a Eucharist Centered People". God has blessed everyone of us with time, talent and treasure. We have a need to give back to God the first fruits of His blessings. When we do, we experience in dramatic ways, what God has in store for each one of us.
I believe with conviction that God has gifted you in special ways. I believe that you are an important part of His plan in the History of Salvation. I believe that you have a purpose in life, given to you by God. I believe that it is no accident that you come to this parish at this time. I believe that you are sent to us by God.
What's it all about? Let's find out together. It's a joy and a pleasure to welcome you.
Your brother in Christ,
Msgr. Edward R. Sacks, M.Ed.
